Refund Policy
Last updated: October 29, 2026
Graph Modeler™ is free for personal use, so you can try it before you buy a commercial license. If you buy one and it is not right for you, you can have your money back.
30 days, no questions asked
You may ask for a full refund within 30 days of your purchase. I will not ask you why. Write to sales@graphmodeler.com and give the email address you used for the order and the order number from your receipt.
What you get back
- The full price you paid, including any tax that was added at checkout.
- It goes back to the payment method you used. Polar, which sells the licenses as the merchant of record, makes the refund. Your bank may take several business days to show it.
- Polar may also refund a purchase on its own within 60 days of the sale in some cases, for example to settle a complaint before it becomes a dispute.
After a refund
A refunded license ends, and you must stop using the software commercially, which means you need a commercial license again for that use. The software stays free for personal and other non-commercial use, as the license says.
After 30 days
A request after 30 days is not covered by this policy, but write anyway. I look at each request on its own, especially when the software did not do what this site said it would. I will tell you what I can do.
Before you dispute a charge
Please write to me first. I can usually settle a refund faster than a dispute with your bank can, and a dispute can cost both of us more.
If a charge on your statement looks unfamiliar, look for POLAR*graph-modeler. That is how a purchase of Graph Modeler appears, because Polar takes the payment.
Problems with the software
If the software does not work for you, write to support@graphmodeler.com and say what happened. Many problems have a fix that takes a few minutes, and the Support page lists the common ones. You do not have to be refused a fix to ask for a refund.
Contact
sales@graphmodeler.com for refunds and licenses; support@graphmodeler.com for help with the software.
